Ok so this arrived 2 days after purchase, Now my issue was that I needed a WIFI device that had a 1GB LAN port but also pushes out 1Gbps+, So I know this is 1Gb into my switch and shows the connection is 1Gb and then even in the software, But when i conect via wifi with my phone, PC, Laptop, When I do a speed test the resuts are the same, For 5GHZ the down maxes out at 62MB/s, upload 52MB/s, on the 2.5GHZ the down is 26MB/s and up sstays the same 52MB/s, This device is not giving 1Gbps out.

Good performance, set-up confusing
I purchased this access point to extend the range available for iPads and other portable devices. The unit works well but it took me some time to figure out how to set it up: the instructions enclosed with the unit provided several different approaches, some of which involved downloading dedicated software. In th end I found that I could set it up by connecting my iPad directly to the unit and was able to set it up in 2 minutes. TP-Link need to revise their instructions to clarify the set-up options especially for single unit installations.I purchased this access point to extend the range available for iPads and other portable devices. As you would expect?
Whilst not the fastest access point out there these days, it does a good job and perfect for locations where power is difficult to reach as it comes with its own POE Injector PSU (if you don't already have a PoE source switch). Significantly better than the 2.4Ghz only AP's
