Very happy with the range, reliability, and speed of connections it can make. While the majority of the setup is marginally easier than pie, there was one major issue I had. My particular use case involves passing a lot of low-latency UDP broadcast traffic, and this router blocks this by default in the name of improving network performance (indeed in most usage scenarios this is correct - it will significantly improve network health). It took me about an hour of fiddling to work out what the router calls this blocking functionality to disable it. To be clear, this is not something which will trouble the average home user, but it did cause me a significant amount of frustration.

I have several of the WPA8630 around the house. Speeds are great but I have found that some units can "go to sleep" - despite me finding some software that is supposed to disallow this from happening. However, I think I might have found a cure by sending a constant ping to the router from a device on the TP-Link wifi network to stop it falling asleep - and so far so good. Apart from that, I can highly recommend these devices.
